This Clippers-Rockets trade pairs Victor Oladipo with George, Leonard

With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George fully healthy, the Los Angeles Clippers are very much a title contender in the Western Conference. Not only do these two superstars carry a lot of the weight of this team, but the Clippers have a lot of veteran NBA players with tons of experience on their roster.

Guys like Nicolas Batum, Marcus Morris Sr, Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams and Serge Ibaka are all big time contributors for this organization and all have been in the league for quite a while now. As a matter of fact, all five of these guys combined have 55 years of NBA playing experience!

The only thing each of these guys is missing though is a ring. The only player on the Los Angeles Clippers that has ever won the NBA Finals is Kawhi Leonard and if this team can come together this season, they could end up winning the franchise’s first title ever. There is still a lot of basketball to be played and a lot can happen between now and the playoffs, but the Clippers have proven once again that they are one of the top teams in the league.

Obviously, this team will go as far as Kawhi Leonard and Paul George can take them, but could Los Angeles look to potentially make a big move near the NBA trade deadline? They do not have much cap space, but if they are willing to part ways with some of their veteran role players, they could potentially bring in another All-Star caliber player to pair with their two superstars.

Victor Oladipo just joined the Houston Rockets about a month ago in the James Harden blockbuster trade, but there have been NBA trade rumors swirling around him ever since he got to Houston. Could Oladipo be on the move once again this year and could he team up with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in Los Angeles?

Let’s take a look at what this blockbuster trade between the Rockets and Clippers could potentially look like.
