Miami Heat
The Miami Heat have had a rough start to their season, and if they hope to get back into the playoffs in 2021, they’ll need to correct some concerns. The Heat have plenty of talent on their roster, but they need to acquire a stable veteran to combine with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
The Heat lost in the NBA Finals a season ago to the Los Angeles Lakers and they will be looking to get their revenge if they crack the playoffs in 2021. The Heat have some great young talent on their roster in Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson, but adding Kevin Love to the mix would emphasize an opportunity to thrive in the Eastern Conference.
There was big plans from the Miami Heat to add a superstar next season by preserving cap space for free agency. Many of those potential targets have already been removed from the realm of possibility due to contract extensions from their current team.
The Miami Heat, as they currently sit, would miss out on the playoffs in 2021. If the team hopes to rebound (no pun intended) this season, they’ll need to add some serious talent to their lineup.
