Why This Trade Would Benefits The Toronto Raptors

Masai Ujiri has a decision to make in the front office for the Raptors. He must decide if he wants to shake things up a bit or stay the course with the roster that he has assembled. If he decides to shake things up a bit, then players like Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam could be on the move.

Pascal Siakam has been viewed as a franchise player in Toronto so it will come as a bit of a shock if he is traded away prior to the NBA trade deadline. In this deal, the Raptors would get back immediate help with Jerami Grant. He would be able to take over for Siakam and perform at a high-level.

Derrick Rose is the type of player that can come off the bench for Toronto or serve as a starter if Lowry is sent away. The Raptors are a team that should do something moving forward.

Toronto lost some important names in free agency such as Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol. It is sometimes hard to make up for those but Ujiri is one of the best minds in the game and will know how to retool the roster.
