It was believed that Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam would be the core moving forward for the Toronto Raptors. Kyle Lowry’s name has been thrown around in NBA trade rumors and could be on the move given he’s on an expiring contract.

The Raptors almost certainly will keep Pascal Siakam in their long-term plans, too. However, the Detroit Pistons could put together an enticing trade offer that Toronto should at least give consideration.

It begins with Jerami Grant. He is off to a great start in Detroit averaging 23.4 points per game, including nine of the last 10 with 20 or more. Derrick Rose is a veteran point guard who would serve as a depth piece for a team looking to make a run this season.
