This Bulls-Hawks trade forms a Trae Young, Zach LaVine duo

Entering the 2020-21 NBA season, there were a lot of questions about the Chicago Bulls and if new head coach Billy Donovan would be the guy who is able to turn this franchise around. Well, so far, the Bulls actually have not looked terrible and are currently 6-8.

One of the best things about this team is all of the youthful talent they have. Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter Jr, Coby White and rookie Patrick Williams are all under the age of 24 and have shown a lot of potential to be really good players in the foreseeable future. They are led however by the Bulls best player and future NBA All-Star, Zach LaVine.

Since joining the Bulls ahead of the 2017-18 season, LaVine has been nothing short of fantastic and has been the sole reason the Bulls have won some games over the years. He is one of the best all-around athletes in the entire NBA and his natural scoring abilities on the offensive end of the court make Zach LaVine one of the more dangerous scorers in the NBA.

He is now 25-years old and with him playing the best basketball of his career, there are definitely questions about what the future holds for the young superstar. There were plenty of rumors this past offseason about LaVine possibly being traded, but nothing major ever surfaced in regards to the Bulls actively shopping him.

Could Chicago look to trade their best player near the trade deadline? Let’s take a look at a potential trade that would send Zach LaVine to the Atlanta Hawks, pairing him up with All-Star guard Trae Young.
