The drama surrounding Victor Oladipo and the Indiana Pacers was finally put to rest. Oladipo was quickly sent to the Houston Rockets after they unloaded James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets. The drama might not be over just yet. Houston could choose to trade Oladipo once again prior to the NBA trade deadline. Could the Los Angeles Lakers be a suitor?
This all depends on their intention with the two-time NBA All-Star moving forward. Oladipo has one year left on his contract and is coming off a major knee injury. The Rockets signed Christian Wood in the offseason and acquired John Wall in a trade involving Russell Westbrook. These players are the backbone moving forward.
