Why This Trade Would Benefit The Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets’ lineup is extremely unbalanced. They have gotten great production from their backcourt but the big men have struggled to get anything going. If they are interested in balancing the lineup, Randle is a player who would help them greatly.

It might not seem ideal to trade Devonte’ Graham but when looking at the roster, Charlotte has the security to do so. LaMelo Ball was their third-overall pick so obviously he is not going anywhere.

Right now, Terry Rozier is playing at an extremely high level which makes him look like a key cog for the future. They signed him to a big deal in free agency so it would make sense to keep him around as the centerpiece. With the start that Julius Randle is off too, he would benefit the Hornets right away.

Charlotte is a few years away from competing but can speed up the process by balancing out there lineup on both ends. This is a chance for them to use the assets they have to acquire a big that would help them right away.
