Detroit Pistons Receive: Al Horford, George Hill

One of the biggest veteran names in Detroit is Blake Griffin. He has struggled with injuries during his time with the Pistons but has been healthy this season. As a result, he has found himself being included in NBA trade rumors.

It could be time for a fresh start for Griffin after the Pistons loaded up in the frontcourt during the offseason. He is off to a poor start to the 2020-21 NBA season and already had a bad contract beforehand. As a result, giving up Sekou Doumbouya to get off Griffin’s contract would be necessary.

In return, the Pistons would land Al Horford and George Hill. These are two other veteran names that would improve their depth on the floor. Hill would come in handy with the injury to Killian Hayes.
