Why This Trade Would Benefits The Cleveland Cavaliers
Tension might be high with the Cleveland Cavaliers and players could be getting tired of the constant losing. This is a franchise that has been in rebuilding mode since LeBron James left for the Los Angeles Lakers. It does not seem to be coming to an end anytime soon.
The Cavaliers have been featured in plenty of NBA trade rumors but it has been their frontcourt at the center. Both Kevin Love and Andre Drummond are veteran players that could be used as trade pieces.
The Cavaliers have some promising talent in Darius Garland and Collin Sexton. Initially, Kevin Porter Jr. was thought to be part of that equation but that has changed after his outburst in the locker room.
With a rebuilding team, it is hard to have players who are not patient an inch from the long run. If Porter Jr. is disgruntled, it would benefit the team greatly to send him away.
