Why This Trade Would Benefit The Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic are coming off the postseason where they were eliminated in five games by the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks. Orlando is off to a good start this season and could look to make a big splash at the deadline in hopes of climbing up the standings in the Eastern Conference.
There are a few bigger options that would cause a huge stir than Kyrie Irving. He has a top 10 player in the NBA when he is on the floor but that has been a problem in recent years. He missed time with an injury last year and has not played for the Nets in a couple weeks here.
The duo of Irving and Vucevic would certainly excite Magic fans. Both Fournier and Ross are scoring at a high clip this season. The Magic have a good roster of role players but are looking for that superstar name.
Irving could be that name if the Nets get fed up and decide to roll with their other duo. This would be extremely interesting to see and would certainly catch many people by surprise.
