Victor Oladipo was traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Houston Rockets in part of the four-team blockbuster trade centered around James Harden. Could the two-time All-Star potentially be traded to his third team of the season prior to the NBA trade deadline?
Oladipo had been very vocal about not wanting to be in Indiana with the Pacers, but he had also mentioned he wants to play for the Miami Heat. The Rockets attempted to be trade partners with the Miami Heat for James Harden, but Houston’s asking price was far too steep.
It’s uncertain what the Houston Rockets would ask for a guy like Victor Oladipo, who they received in a deal and has just one year left on his contract, but I doubt the asking price is very high.
Maybe a solid player and a second-round pick could do the trick as it’s evident Oladipo doesn’t want to play for anyone other than the Miami Heat.
Victor Oladipo is a two-time NBA All-Star who would bring a lot to the table for any team. There’s not a single team in the NBA who wouldn’t get significantly better with Oladipo on the squad and he could have a strong market near the trade deadline.
With that being said, let’s take a look at three teams who could look to trade for the new Houston Rockets star.
