Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors are off to a surprisingly good start this season and could use a shooting guard to pair alongside Steph Curry for their playoff run. Bradley Beal, who’s contract is set to expire following the season, would be a perfect fit.
The Warriors have a luxury tax that is extremely high, so the only way they’d be able to acquire any new players is by exploring the NBA trade market. While the Warriors have done a great job without their star shooting guard Klay Thompson this season, they will need some help in the playoffs.
Asking a team to attempt to beat a team like the Lakers or Clippers multiple times without an NBA All-Star shooting guard would seem unlikely, which is a problem they can solve with the addition of Bradley Beal.
The Warriors need to be hammering down the door in the nation’s capital to attempt to land the superstar shooting guard. It would help in the immediate future but also once Thompson makes his return to the lineup.
