Why This Trade Would Benefit The Washington Wizards
Both John Wall and Bradley Beal requested trades in the NBA offseason. As of now, the Washington Wizards kept Beal on the roster to pair with Russell Westbrook. That has not worked just yet which could lead to some other big moves coming out of Washington.
Right now, Beal is not doing much for the Wizards. His excellent ability has not transferred into wins for the team. He would benefit from playing for a contender and helping a team moving forward. Washington signed Davis Bertans in the offseason and traded for Westbrook.
It would be difficult to flip either one of these players so Beal is the logical choice. If they are able to get players ready to produce and some NBA Draft picks, it seems like a no-brainer.
It is unknown what exactly the market is on Beal right now. The Wizards will take a look at potential offers and make the move that makes the most sense for the franchise.
