This Pacers-Rockets trade would feature James Harden to Indiana

There were been two names at the top of NBA trade rumors during the offseason — James Harden and Victor Oladipo. As of now, both players are still on their current teams but that could change soon. If a deal like this is pulled off, they will both be moved in a blockbuster.

The situation between Harden and the Houston Rockets does not seem to be improving. He requested a trade months ago and put together a list of preferred destinations.

Both the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers seem to have pulled their names out of the running which means the Rockets will have to find other trade partners. The Indiana Pacers could be a surprise team given their current situation with Oladipo.

Indiana got their NBA All-Star guard back during the postseason last year. Oladipo is playing on the final year of his contract with the Pacers. There has been no talk of an extension which means they will most likely be sending him away. This is something that has not happened yet but there is still time before the deadline.

The Pacers have a core moving forward with Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon. To return to championship form, they could look to make a big splash with Harden.

This would sen both conferences into a whirlwind. Harden going to the Eastern Conference would shake things up big time. Here is what a potential trade might look like between these two teams.
