Terry Rozier, for whatever reason, always seems to be involved in NBA trade rumors despite being extremely productive whether as a starter or ina key bench role. Rozier, 26, is a combo guard who can explode to get into the paint and hit jumpers from deep— currently for the Charlotte Hornets.
Rozier has been on the trade market pretty much since his arrival with the Hornets when Charlotte traded for him in 2019. Now, with a new logjam in the backcourt rotation, those talks have seemingly begun to heat up once again.
It’s a matter of numbers for Rozier. The Hornets just drafted LaMelo Ball with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and he’s been outshining the majority of the roster. The Hornets also have Devonte’ Graham who is a focal point of the offense as well.
The odd man out in Charlotte would be Terry Rozier, and he seemingly already knows his fate. He has been distancing himself from the team a lot more and on social media as well and is appearing as if he wants out. Several teams have seemed interested in acquiring the veteran point guard, but no deal is imminent at this time.
