If Bradley Beal is truly unhappy in the Washington Wizards, then it would make sense for the team to trade him right away. They acquired another centerpiece player when they sent John Wall to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Russell Westbrook.
The Wizards could completely focus on building around Westbrook in a trade such as this one. He is a point guard who dominates the ball. He has to have the ball in his hands at most times during games.
Both Harris and Barton are wings who are used to playing with other stars and are used to being secondary options within the offense. Meanwhile, RJ Hampton has a chance to turn into a great player but has not reached his ceiling just yet. Also, for a rebuilding team first-round picks are like gold.
This trade would give the Wizards many options. They can keep the picks in Hampton or decide to flip them in another deal. It would also give Westbrook some secondary help on the perimeter which makes him the primary option.
