Charlotte Hornets Receive: James Harden, Ben McLemore, Danuel House Jr.

Houston Rockets Receive: Terry Rozier, Cody Zeller, Devonte’ Graham, Malik Monk, 2021 1st Round Pick, 2027 1st Round Pick

James Harden would be the lone piece going to the Charlotte Hornets. They will not ask for anything else but an elite scorer that can carry a team offensively. This would for a Harden-Ball duo that could be dynamic as the franchise prepares for the future.

Charlotte knows this deal will not be cheap. They will have to send both Devonte’ Graham and Terry Rozier back in return. This would be a large return for the Houston Rockets, along with two first-round picks.

Cody Zeller and Malik Monk would also be switching sides. This would continue to give the Rockets depth at all positions without having to be financially committed long-term.

Let’s take a closer look at this busy deal and see why each side would pull the trigger.
