This Magic-Warriors trade would send Aaron Gordon to Golden State

The Golden State Warriors have created a dynasty over the years and have completely changed the way the game of basketball is played in the NBA. From what was once a big man-oriented game has completely changed to being about the three-point shot, and a big part of that is because of what the Warriors did with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

Not only are these two guys two of the best three-point shooters of all-time, but they allowed Golden State to build a team that relies on the three-point shot and playing smaller lineups without a true big man on the court based on analytics. The numbers say there is a better chance of winning with five potential shooters on the court rather than three or four and as a result, the league as a whole has become more reliant on three-pointers than mid-range shots and dunks.

After all of the injuries this organization faced last year, the Warriors’ streak of five consecutive NBA Finals appearances was snapped and they are in jeopardy of not just missing The Finals, but the playoffs again due to Klay Thompson being out for the year with an Achilles injury and because there are so many new faces on this team.

One thing we know for sure though is that Steph Curry is going to do everything he can to make this team a legit contender and he has proven that so far this season. The Warriors have had an up-and-down start to the season, but Curry has been sensational and scored a career-high 62 points the other night against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers.

With Steph Curry looking like a legit MVP candidate this season, the Warriors have some big decisions to make about how to go about their roster and who gives them the best chance to win/contend for a title. Andrew Wiggins was acquired by the Warriors at the trade deadline last season, but could they potentially move on from him to bring in another frontcourt option?

Let’s take a look at a potential trade that sends Andrew Wiggins to the Orlando Magic in exchange for two key role players that could be extremely important to the Warriors potential success.
