Why This Trade Would Benefit The Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards are off to a brutal start to the 2020-21 NBA season. Beal is truly unhappy, it would benefit Washington to send him away sooner than later. He would get some young prospects along with a future first-round pick.

Darius Garland headlines this deal— scoring 17.2 points per game so far this season. He has taken his offensive game to the next level and will continue to improve. There’s a lot to like about his long-term potential.

Larry Nance Jr. is an athletic freak down low while Okoro would give them a player who was taken in the first-round pick this past year. Washington could use these pieces to build around Russell Westbrook in the NBA seasons.

The Washington Wizards could completely head in a different direction by trading Bradley Beal. By already parting ways with John Wall. they have shown an interest in doing so and this one can completely take the franchise he turned around in hopes of competing soon.
