Why This Trade Would Benefit The Miami Heat

The Miami Heat made a surprise run to the NBA Finals last season. Coming into the 2020-21 NBA regular season, they felt good about their roster but could look to add some veterans to help them come postseason time. This would help in many ways.

Miami has their core set with Adebayo and Jimmy Butler. Players like Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson serve as role players that help take the team up a notch. They lost some key pieces in free agency but could replace them with a deal such as this one.

Both Griffin and Rose are veterans who can still play the game at a high level. Griffin would solidify the frontcourt along with Adebayo while Rose would serve as a quality backup point guard to Goran Dragic.

If the Miami Heat wants to take down the beasts in the Western Conference, they should strongly consider a deal such as this one.
