Miles Bridges, F, Charlotte Hornets

Miles Bridges, much like John Collins, is still on his rookie contract and comes at a very affordable price for the Lakers. Kyle Kuzma would be on the move in this type of trade, along with first and second-round picks, which again, improves the Lakers roster.

Kyle Kuzma is definitely not as good of a player as Miles Bridges and Bridges can provide immediate depth behind LeBron James on the wing for the Lakers. Last season, Miles Bridges averaged 13.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and shot 42.4% from the floor, 33% from three-point range.

Not only is Miles Bridges an extremely athletic talent, but he is a player who can thrive in a system next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Bridges is not a great scorer from the perimeter, as he is more of a transition and up-tempo scorer. With the passing abilities of Schroder and James, Miles Bridges would have a field-day running in transition.

Ever since he was drafted by the Hornets, there have been high expectations placed on Miles Bridges’ and while he never really rose to the occasion of being one of the stars in Charlotte, he can be a really solid and reliable role-player moving forward. At just 22-years old and having a lot of potential to grow into a solid, reliable offensive weapon, the Lakers would be fools to pass up on an opportunity to acquire him in a swap with Kuzma.

The 22-year old Miles Bridges can help the Lakers win now and in the future, and since he is owed just under $4M this year, Los Angeles can easily make this trade happen.
