Why the Trade Benefits the Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings currently have a disgruntled player on their hands and it would benefit the team to treat him for a return as soon as possible. Nothing has come up just yet but that does not mean that the Kings are done looking for a trade partner

If the Houston Rockets are interested, the Kings should wait no longer. This is a perfect fit for the Rockets but also for Sacramento. The Kings have a franchise point guard in De’Aaron Fox. Eric Gordon is a player who would complement him well on the perimeter because of his ball-handling ability and shot-creating prowess.

PJ Tucker is a three-point threat who knows how to spot up and get a shot off quickly. This would help Fox have an option to kick the ball out to when he uses his speed getting to the rim.

Let’s not forget about NBA Draft picks that would be sent to the Kings. They are still a rebuilding team and draft capital is the most important thing when rebuilding. If they can get draft picks and rotation ready players for someone who is unhappy in the situation, it would be helpful for the team immediately.
