The Los Angeles Lakers have been busy this offseason after winning an NBA title down in Orlando. They clearly were not satisfied with just one and have made moves in hopes of winning more in creating the next great dynasty. Could Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo be a potential target in the future?
This offseason, the Lakers were able to acquire Dennis Schroder from the Oklahoma City Thunder in a deal that included Danny Green. They went on to sign Montrezl Harrell away from the Los Angeles Clippers. LeBron James and Anthony Davis both signed lucrative contract extensions, which will keep them both with the Lakers for years to come.
If possible, the Lakers will enter this season stronger than last. That does not mean that they are done making moves.
Oladipo likely remains on the trade block and this is a deal that the Lakers should still pursue to improve their back-court.
Some might say that the Lakers do not need Oladipo if they want to win a championship. Those people would be right, but that does not mean that they should not go after an All-Star caliber player.
Here are three reasons why Los Angeles should still look into a trade with the Pacers for Victor Oladipo.
