The Chicago Bulls are one of the most interesting teams this NBA offseason because of their current state. The Denver Nuggets are another team that has been quiet but could look to make an impactful move late in the offseason. The two sides could pair and pull off one of the biggest trades this year— featured around Zach LaVine.
Chicago is so intriguing because they have been near the bottom of the conference for years now, but have two cornerstone players on the roster. Zach LaVine and Lauri Markannen are players to build around in the NBA. Regardless, Chicago has talked about trading either one of their big names.
The Nuggets are coming off a season where they made a surprise run to the Western Conference Finals. They were able to take down the Los Angeles Clippers, but did not have enough firepower to get past LeBron James in the Western Conference Finals.
In order to take the next step, the Nuggets could look to add another star to team up with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. It’s likely that Michael Porter Jr. will take a step forward in his development this season but making a move for an additional talent like Zach LaVine would go a long way, too.
