One of the biggest names surrounding trade rumors has been Buddy Hield. He is unhappy with the current situation with the Sacramento Kings and this could lead to him being sent to another team. The Miami Heat are a team that should have great interest to pair him with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
The Kings moved Hield to the bench last season in favor of Bogdan Bogdanovic. With Bogdanovic signing with the Atlanta Hawks in NBA free agency, the Kings could look to keep Hield around but the damage might have been done.
The Heat is coming off in NBA Finals appearance during the restart. They made a surprise run and were taken down by the Los Angeles Lakers in five games. With Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, Miami has a group of players to build around for the future.
Adding a sharpshooter like Hield would go a long way toward the Heat continuing to contend in the Eastern Conference. He could fill an important role for Miami by continuing to add perimeter shooting with greater general scoring upside.
