Why the Trade Benefits the Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets are interested in winning championships. That was clear when they signed both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving last NBA offseason. If they feel they need another player to get to that level, then it is something they will do. Bradley Beal could be that player.

The addition of Beal could put him at the shooting guard position and have Irving run the point. Durant is a versatile player who could play any forward position. This would be a huge big three come postseason time.

Beal is a proven scorer in the league and one who knows how to play with other superstars. The Nets would have to give up a ton to acquire Beal but if they are holding up a championship trophy, it would all be worth it.

This offseason, the Nets have been relatively quiet. They are just hoping to get healthy and have their stars back on the court. With the season quickly approaching, they could make some noise in the final days before tipoff.
