The King’s Three-Point Shooting Will Increase
Now this is the most intriguing bold prediction on this list. LeBron James has never been an elite three-point shooter, but he isn’t a bad shooter either. We already mentioned that he shot 34.8 percent from the three-point line last season.
So, why would James increase his three-point percentage this season? There is one glaring reason.
Dennis Schroder may not receive a ton of hype, but he is a quality starting point guard. Last season with the Thunder, Schroder averaged 18.9 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game. His ability to get to the paint and create for teammates has been very underrated.
With James being able to play more off the ball, the Lakers are going to see him get more open looks. James is not going to overshoot the ball, but if he is open he will let them fly.
On the 2020-21 season, we are predicting that James will shoot at least 36 percent from the three-point line. The addition of Schroder is going to make a much bigger impact in areas that some would not expect.
