This Clippers-Pacers trade pairs intriguing star with Paul George, Kawhi Leonard

The Los Angeles Clippers and Indiana Pacers are two teams who have tried to make some moves this offseason but look very much the same with the season close to beginning. Victor Oladipo, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard are big names to take note of between these two teams. Both could still be looking to make a move as well.

Let’s talk a bit about Oladipo for a minute. He has been mentioned in trade rumors all season long and many believe that he will eventually end up being traded. Could the Clippers consider making a play for him?

Oladipo is coming off of a gruesome ruptured quad injury that made him miss a year of action. He came back during the 2019-20 NBA season and played in 19 games. In those appearances, Oladipo ended up averaging 14.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game.

No one really knows whether or not Oladipo will be able to return to full strength and ability. However, it would be worth the risk for the Clippers to look into the idea of pairing him with Leonard and George.

Los Angeles suffered an embarrassing collapse in the NBA Playoffs against the Denver Nuggets. After leading 3-1 in the series, they lost three straight and were eliminated. That led to Doc Rivers leaving town and Tyronn Lue taking over as head coach.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at a potential trade between the Pacers and Clippers that would send Victor Oladipo to L.A.
