5 NBA stars who could be the next to get traded

No matter what time of the NBA season it is, there are always going to be trade rumors circulating and plenty of speculations being done of “what could be.” This NBA offseason is no exception. Plenty of big names around the NBA have had their names circulating around and it is not crazy to believe that we could see a plethora of talent be on the move this offseason and throughout the 2020-21 NBA season.

This year’s free agent class was one of the weakest groups in the history of NBA Free Agency and with not money being spent on free agents, teams may be more willing to spend money via the trade market. Over the years, the NBA has changed in the sense that teams are looking to pair up numerous All-Stars in attempts to win an NBA title. We saw it with the Warriors bringing in Kevin Durant and now we have seen it with Anthony Davis teaming up with LeBron James in Los Angeles.

In the NBA today, there is at least one player on every team that you can point to and say they have NBA All-Star type talent, but it is not enough to contend in the league anymore. Teams are always looking to add talent, which is why some NBA stars could be on the move sooner than later.

Steven Adams, Jrue Holiday, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Chris Paul have all been traded this offseason so far and there are plenty of other big names who could be joining them. If there is one thing we know, it is that today’s front offices will do whatever they can to win now and will give up whatever it takes to acquire the star-power it takes to contend for a championship.

With that being said, let’s take a look at five big names and star players who could be next to be traded this NBA offseason.
