Myles Turner has quickly become an intriguing talent at the center position. He is a two-way player on a favorable contract but could be on the move this NBA offseason. If the Indiana Pacers make him available, there will be plenty of suitors.
What jumps out most about Turner is that he’s the definition of a rim protector. He has great strength and instincts on the defensive end. He does not take many shots but is a pick-and-roll threat along with an offensive rebounding machine.
Turner has expanded his game near the three-point line and could further that with the green light in a more modern offense. Playing alongside higher level creators in a better half-court scheme certainly wouldn’t hurt either.
The Pacers are reportedly shopping some of their core players as they head in a different direction. Victor Oladipo is another name that Indiana has put on the trading block. This is nothing new for Turner as he has been mentioned in rumors in previous seasons.
This could be the year that Myles Turner gets dealt and there is a chance that it is to a better team. If the Indiana Pacers decide to pull the trigger on a deal, these three contenders could be in play.
