Los Angeles Lakers Receive: DeMar DeRozan

San Antonio Spurs Receive: Danny Green, Kyle Kuzma, No. 28 Pick

The first deal on the table is the simplest of all. The Los Angeles Lakers were able to hang on to Kyle Kuzma in the Anthony Davis trade with the New Orleans Pelicans, but they might not be able to get out of it in this deal.

Danny Green is one of the veteran players on an expiring contract that the Lakers should be looking to get rid of. After his performance in the postseason, there is no reason to keep him around.

Kuzma is likely the centerpiece of this deal as Los Angeles tries to add another superstar. San Antonio, being in a rebuilding phase, might like the idea of adding another first-rounder, as well.

The Lakers will have to give to get and that is not an issue for them. They gave up a ton in the Davis deal and it worked out great. They could do the same in a deal for another star to build a big three.
