This Nuggets-76ers trade breaks up the Ben Simmons-Joel Embiid duo

The Denver Nuggets may not be able to swing many upgrades in NBA free agency, but the Nuggets could be a player on the trade market. One player often in rumors is Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons, and Denver could probably present an intriguing offer for Simmons if they’d part with the necessary pieces. 

There are a few ways the Nuggets could formulate an offer to the 76ers if Denver wanted to pursue Simmons. 

From the 76ers’ perspective, there continue to be questions around the duo of Simmons and Joel Embiid. They’re both incredibly valuable trade assets, so if Philadelphia actually decided to trade one, they’d be able to recoup a solid package in return. 

But it remains to be seen what Doc Rivers and Daryl Morey will do in Philadelphia with their star duo.
