The Los Angeles Clippers land at No. 1 because after their playoff performance, they seem to need notable upgrades to fix their issues. They got rid of Doc Rivers and promoted Ty Lue to head coach, but if they simply run back much of the same roster, it could be problematic.

Perhaps more than any other team on this list, the Clippers could benefit from Holiday’s expertise in the locker room as much as his skills on the floor.

Holiday is known to be an outstanding teammate, someone with the ability to unite a locker room when times are tough.

The Clippers had chemistry issues throughout the season last year, and it culminated with their collapse against the Nuggets. Holiday would improve Los Angeles on the floor, but his ability to unite his teammates is arguably just as important.
