This Heat-Kings trade pairs De’Aaron Fox with Jimmy Butler in Miami

The Miami Heat will be chasing after another star player in the near future. There has been no shortage of players linked already between Giannis Antetokounmpo to Victor Oladipo and now to De’Aaron Fox. Could the Sacramento Kings star be a realistic option to pair with Jimmy Butler?

So far, it has been a tough process for the Kings to achieve much success during Fox’s time with the organization. It doesn’t look like things will turn around soon with the Western Conference only getting stronger.

The upcoming NBA season will mark the final year of Fox’s rookie contract. He is eligible for a five-year max extension worth 25% of the salary cap and the expectation is the Kings will offer this and he will sign it.

Last season, Fox managed to put together the best production of his career with averages of 21.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 1.5 steals. At 22-years-old, there is a lot to like about his further potential as a player.

With that being said, let’s take a look at a trade between the Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings centered around De’Aaron Fox.
