Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers were eliminated by the Denver Nuggets in a thrilling series in the NBA bubble. If the Clippers go so far as to trade George, it could be because of that loss. In a twist of cruel irony, could he be traded to the Denver Nuggets?

Denver has its two stalwarts in Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic. Perhaps everything has a price, but if you’re Denver, it’d be extremely hard to justify trading either of those two after the respective performances they turned in during the playoffs.

Let’s work off the assumption that Murray and Jokic are untouchable, just from a logical standpoint.
