Russell Westbrook and James Harden admirably teamed up once again prior to the 2019-20 season, in an effort to rekindle their past magic in Oklahoma City. But the Houston Rockets came up short, and huge changes swept through Houston.
Daryl Morey and Mike D’Antoni are both gone, and Houston will have an entirely different braintrust this offseason.
It remains to be seen what that means for the likes of Westbrook, but Houston could cut its losses by trading him sooner rather than later.
Westbrook will be 32 in November, and it would be understandable if his trade value decreases as his age increases.
