Andre Drummond is expected to opt in to the final year of his contract with the Cavaliers, and if he does, he could be traded this offseason.

In the past, the Warriors have shown how effective a talented center can be in Steve Kerr’s system, with Andrew Bogut during Golden State’s 2015 championship season.

Drummond would fill a huge need for the Warriors as of now. Golden State holds the No. 2 pick in November’s draft, and if the Warriors were to select James Wiseman, that would obviously change the dynamic of the roster.

But as of now, Drummond would be an intriguing fit in Golden State, and it would give the former Pistons first round pick a chance to compete in the playoffs.
