3 trade packages to send Celtics’ Gordon Hayward to the Pacers

Gordon Hayward, Pacers, Celtics

As the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers assess their respective situations this offseason, the two Eastern Conference foes could be a match in a few different trade scenarios. Gordon Hayward is expected to pick up his player option for 2020-21, and if he does, it would give Boston the option of trading him.

Boston’s plans for Hayward remain to be seen, but on a roster that includes Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker, Hayward might be the move tradable piece from Boston’s perspective.

For Hayward, it would stand to reason that the former Butler star would welcome a trade to Indiana if he has to leave Boston.

Hayward was adored by Celtics’ fans upon his arrival, but unfortunately his tenure there has been marred by injuries.

Let’s take a look at three trades that could send Hayward to Indiana.
