Bertans is not the big name free agent that the 76ers might want, but he would be an extremely good pickup for a team looking for a shooter. Bertans is a Latvian player who has turned into a productive player very quickly.

At 6-foot-10, Bertans has great size and is one of the most underrated shooters in the league. This season, Bertans shot 42% from deep before the season was paused. He decided not to play in the restart.

Bertans is a free agent and the Washington Wizards have made it clear that they are interested in re-signing him. It is unclear what the market is for Bertans and to acquire him, the 76ers may have to unload one of their big contracts.

There is potential for a sign-and-trade here, but it would take some strategic moves from Philly, which is something they have not perfected. Bertans is worth a look and is someone who would help the outside game of the Sixers immediately.
