NBA Trade Target No. 5 — Derrick Rose

If the Detroit Pistons opt to trade Derrick Rose as he prepares to enter the final season of his contract, there should be several teams interested.

Rose could be a fit for numerous contenders, including the Lakers, Clippers, 76ers and Warriors.

The beauty of Rose’s game at this stage of his career is he no longer needs to be the No. 1 option as he once was for the Bulls. Injuries derailed his career for a period of time, but he has bounced back in inspiring fashion.

Rose can serve as the first option off the bench, or he could start and easily hold his own.

The 32 year-old is a perfect option for a contender at this stage, and he has just one year remaining before he’ll reach free agency in 2021.
