It’s fascinating to think about the potential the Nets have ahead of next season. Even without having Durant at all and very rarely having Irving in the lineup, Brooklyn managed to finish with the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference.
The play of Caris LeVert and Spencer Dinwiddie played a key role in the Nets’ ability to make the playoffs without the superstars. Will Brooklyn decide to keep both guards? Or will they include one or both of them in a potential trade package?
The main question for the Nets will be whether they believe LeVert or Dinwiddie can thrive in a lesser role. If not, they can capitalize on trade value to add a third star that may be a cleaner fit with Durant and Irving.
