Portland Trail Blazers Receive: LaMarcus Aldridge, 2020 First-Round Pick, 2021 First-Round Pick

San Antonio Spurs Receive: Jusuf Nurkic, Trevor Ariza, Rodney Hood, Wenyen Gabriel

The Trail Blazers are not trading Damian Lillard or C.J. McCollum, which makes the addition of LaMarcus Aldridge’s $25 million salary a difficult ask.

One way for it to happen would be for the Trail Blazers to part with Jusuf Nurkic, who has been a prized part of their core for years.

Aldridge, at 35, can not match the value of Jusuf Nurkic, or Nurkic combined with Trevor Ariza, Rodney Hood, and Wenyen Gabriel.

For Aldridge to return to Portland in a trade, the Spurs would have to be all-in on acquiring Nurkic, and the Blazers would have to be willing to accept picks in return for Nurkic.
