When the Lakers and Detroit Pistons have been brought up in connection recently, it has mostly centered on the possibility of Derrick Rose heading to the Lakers.

Kuza could serve as a possible return to Detroit, although his value is obviously higher than that of Rose, so it wouldn’t be a one-for-one swap.

Kuzma could join a Pistons team led by Blake Griffin, and he’d give Detroit an athletic scoring forward who will be entering his prime.

The Pistons aren’t expected to contend next season, but Kuzma now has a season with a championship team under his belt, which would bring valuable experience to Detroit.
