This 76ers-Nets trade would send Joel Embiid to Brooklyn

The Philadelphia 76ers are coming off a disappointing ending to their season after Ben Simmons was unable to play with Joel Embiid in the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets put up a fight in their series but have yet to begin the Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving era.

The end result for the 76ers led to the firing of former head coach Brett Brown to which they replaced with Glenn Rivers, formerly known as “Doc.” Now, the focus will shift to personnel changes the team wants to make this offseason.

Meanwhile, the Nets will enter an exciting beginning to a time that will feature the Durant-Irving duo. Brooklyn also made a coaching change by hiring Steve Nash and it caught the rest of the NBA by surprise.

Both teams will look to compete at a high-level in the Eastern Conference during the next NBA season. It won’t be easy when considering there are other threats to account for like the Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, and, of course, the Miami Heat.

With that being said, let’s take a look at a trade that would send Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid to the Brooklyn Nets— pairing him up with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
