Derrick Rose, Detroit Pistons
Derrick Rose’s career resurgence has proved that, despite his injury history, he can still contribute and help a team win.
Rose would not come in and make the impact that Oladipo or Westbrook would, but he has shown over the past couple seasons that he can average 18 points and five assists per game, with an eFG% of 52%, the best mark of his career.
Most importantly for Rose, though, is his availability. Over the past two seasons, Rose played 26 minutes per game, and 27.3 minutes per game, respectively. His next highest average in minutes per game was back in 2016, when he played 32.5 minutes per game with the Knicks.
If Rose is able to stay on the floor, he can absolutely help a team win, even if he’s no longer the high-flying, super athletic guard he was a decade ago.
