2. Golden State Warriors
The Warriors had an uncharacteristic season after Kevin Durant left and both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were recovering from injuries.
Golden State’s ownership group is impatient, to put it nicely, and the team needs to emerge as a contender once again. The Warriors will have Curry and Thompson back next season, but they could improve their bench by adding Derrick Rose.
Thanks to massive contracts for Curry, Thompson and Andrew Wiggins, the Warriors’ roster is extremely top heavy, with a lot of inexperience beyond their veterans.
Rose would fit nicely in the second unit, if Bob Myers and company can find a way to acquire him.
