NBA Trade Candidate No. 6 — Aaron Gordon, Orlando Magic

Aaron Gordon is a foundational piece in Orlando, but outside of a game 1 victory in the opening round of the playoffs, the Magic are back to the drawing board for next season.

Gordon is still just 24, and should prove to be a valuable trade piece. Gordon has a unique skillset, but the Magic haven’t quite been able to build a team around him.

Gordon and the Magic have tried to make this work for six seasons, and at this point it may be in the best interest of the player and the team to part ways. He has two years remaining on his current contract, but the longer Orlando holds on to him, the less valuable he becomes in a potential trade.

Gordon can reach unrestricted free agency after the 2022 season when he’ll be 27.
