This Pacers-Suns trade would send Victor Oladipo to Phoenix

The Indiana Pacers are entering what could be a franchise altering offseason. With Victor Oladipo on the final year of his contract in 2020-21, the Pacers could consider trading him to make sure that they don’t lose him for nothing. One team to watch could be the Phoenix Suns, who could offer a very intriguing deal.

Oladipo came back this season from a gruesome ruptured quad injury. While he showed flashes of his former self, he also struggled at times.

In the 19 regular season games he played in, Oladipo averaged 14.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. He improved a bit in the four playoff games the Pacers played, averaging 17.8 points per game to go along with 3.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

At 28 years old, Oladipo is still in his prime and should be able to come back to full strength just fine. His athleticism and ability to create shots and plays for his teammates was already coming back. Should the Suns be interested in Oladipo, they should not shy away from a deal.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at one intriguing trade between the Pacers and Suns that would send Victor Oladipo to Phoenix.
