There is bound to be a ton of storylines surrounding the Los Angeles Clippers this offseason after blowing a 3-1 lead to the Denver Nuggets in the playoffs. Whether it is Paul George or Doc Rivers, there are plenty of members of the organization taking blame for the loss. In other news, Montrezl Harrell is set to be come a free agent.
Harrell just finished his third season in Los Angeles and was extremely productive during his time there. This season, Harrell averaged over 18 points and seven rebounds on his way to the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award. He played in 63 games this season for the Clippers. Over his last three years in Los Angeles, Harrell has made himself some money.
There are murmurs suggesting that the Clippers should sign Harrell to a max contract. There will be multiple suitors for the big man when he hits free agency. Harrell is a player with a high motor and great passion on the floor. He is a perfect piece off the bench for the Clippers with players like George and Kawhi Leonard on the perimeter.
