The Los Angeles Lakers will enter the Orlando portion of their season hoping to pick up where they left off before the season went on hiatus.

Sitting at 49-14 before the NBA went on break, the Lakers are clearly one of the favorites to win the championship this year. But can they? With LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the way, many have pegged them as the team to beat down in Orlando.

The roster is loaded with playoff experience thanks to the addition of J.R. Smith along with Dwight Howard, JaVale McGee, and Danny Green. However, that’s still not to say that the Lakers are not without their shortcomings.

An injury to Rajon Rondo has deprived them of a solid floor general and the additions of Smith and Dion Waiters still begs the question of what they can add to a team that made a huge spark this season off chemistry? Is Frank Vogel seasoned enough to get this team over the hump?
